Meet the Bairn & Babe's Team!

Thank you for checking us out here at Bairn & Babes. If you've been here awhile you know that we are a small, mother daughter team that started this business with the goal of creating a one stop (small) shop for all of your baby & toddler needs. We source local products where we can, support small shops whenever possible, and have our own line of littles clothing and teething toys!  

We thought this blog page might be a fun way for you all to get to know us, share our "why" with you all, and any tips and tricks we pick up along the way! But before we do that we would love to formally introduce ourselves to you, and share a little about us. If you see us at markets or fairs please stop by to say hi, we would love to meet you in person!

Leila is a wife, mother and grandmother. Her and her husband Bruce live on a small hobby farm SE of Sherwood Park, where they have cows, horses, cats, dogs, sleds, quads, and motorcycles. They love to travel by plane & by motorhome and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Mother of two grown children - Danielle (me) & Robert - Leila is the proud new grandmother to my first child and loves anything to do with babies & toddlers. Leila worked in the corporate world for more than 20 years before becoming a stay at home mom, and has run numerous small businesses. She is the one that schedules our markets, packages/ships or delivers all of your orders, organizes our inventory, and sources & places all of our orders.

The second half of the team is myself, Danielle. I loved the idea of starting a small family business with my mom and was so excited when she agreed to do B&B with me. I am a new mom, wife, horse girl, dog lover, and travel enthusiast. My husband (Troy) and I currently live on our acreage by Morinville with our horses, pigs, dogs and cats, and we both work full time in the agriculture industry. We love to be on the go - which is probably a good thing! Troy and I hope to one day live on more land and farm but for now our son (Weston) along with our jobs, B&B and our other small businesses keep us very busy. I manage our social media, marketing, website design, and help out with ordering and researching new products whenever I can.

We are loving the journey and have already met such great people through this little small business of ours.
